I saw someone else do it, so here's suggestions from myself!!
Side desk, like to put next to the couch
coffee table (maybe make it so we can set things on top, like if we had a small flower pot)
maybe a chair the cats can sit on at the desk?
rotate items so they face where we want
kitties get angry if you give them too much attention
rare kitties that are based on made up entities (vampires, angels, zombies, medusa, lit anything you like)
human kitchen stuff for kitties to jump around and play on (since there is tile, i thought itd be nice)
litter boxes and if you wanna add the mechanic of cleaning trash can !!
straws as an option for toys bc for some reason cats LOVE straws !!
personally, i believe it should be easier to get coins or things should be lower in price.
mini games !! instead of lowering the price, you can add mini games!! a lot of cat-game creators think like oh put those basic minigames like the switch blocks -- which is fine -- but it'd be a cool mechanic to be able to clean the kitties and do other things to take care of them and maybe a minigame close up of playing or petting?
following the last one, a bathtub, and possibly if you like other bathroomy things !!
walls !! only issue w/ walls is that the kitties do get stuck on random things a lot like food bowls n stuff that is solid
the ability to add/remove/move plants like trees, and maybe there can be a mechanic to plant trees and flowers and over time of playing the game they grow?
insects would be really fun, like if there were flies flying around and moths attracted to lamps, and maybe kitties can chase them too. itd also be cool if there was a chance for a kitty to find an insect and make a bubble with a (!) and if you click it fast enough you get a little scene and you can capture a bug in a jar (kinda like fishing in stardew valley) last one would be adding onto the other persons suggestion of a shelf!! we could put jars on shelves (with sticks and stuff inside, like theres automatically a terrarium to fit the kind of bug inside and its little pixels of colour far away
cool bugs to capture suggestion : any kind of mantis (pref orchid mantis imo :3), stick bugs, fire flies, beetles, moths, butterflies, dragon flies, lady beetles, crickets, bees, CENTIPEDES AND MILIPEDES !!!!!! (my fav besides mantis'), ect
also, you could add an option to disable bugs.
insects have a possibility to put multiple in one jar based on the size of the jar and insect (like once you catch one it has an option of what jar to add it to, so like you buy the jars and then decide what one to put them into, and ofc there should be bigger jars and maybe you could add a tank for many bugs, fish, snakes, ect that the cats would interact with.)
auto feed for wet foods
maybe make walls more visible and items to mount on the wall
kitty playgrounds or outside things to jump on
sandbox and maybe there can be a brush to clean up messes kitties make if they track stuff out of the box or if they spill food or water or if (piggy backing off of other idea) they use the bathroom outside of the kitty box (and since that is a kinda gross mechanic you can add an disable option)

stupid silly idea : music box and once it plays music cats start dancing like parrots in minecraft. jk, but itd be cool to add an option to put on music.

Is there a way to get more cats? It seems like it maxes out at seven, but I saw a comment saying it should go to 21. I have four expansions, seven scratch posts, plenty of food and water and cardboard boxes, and at least a hundred toys, but none of it seems to make a difference.
I had ten resting places of various kinds, and now I added four more, and we are up to eight kittens. But I think that fourteen beds for eight kittens is a lot. They don't sleep that much.

also, is there a way to see a list of cats you have adopted? i know about the catlog but im having a hard time counting all my silly cats. if there isnt a way, i suggest adding a popup that gives you either a list or a count of adopted/current cats and maybe the stats for everything else? like toys/furniture
Is the backup save on the browser compatible with the downlodable version if I replace the save? (I tried this and renamed the file itself, but the game kept crashing. Am I missing something?)

i have somewhat of a dev mind i can say that disabilities would be kinda sad and brutal as this game is meant to be CUTE, cat towers would be nice and i can imagine it coming, but it might not happen, catnip would be a AMAZING feature for cat games like this, shelfs obviously would be again, perfect, but honestly i would just sell the food if i couldnt use it at the moment.
If kitties are bored enough they’ll play with anything except for balls on their own, but they’ll play with any toy if they see it moving (if they’re a little bit bored and they’re in the mood to play with it!)
Kitties are only in the mood to do one “play” thing at a time (playing with toys, chasing kitties, chasing the cursor, scratching things, sitting in a box/bed, etc), so if they aren’t playing with toys they’re just not in the mood at that moment ^^
It’s based on how many toys and scratching posts you have, but has diminishing returns, eventually capping at 21 (but you need hundreds of toys to reach this number), and also using expansion permits increases the cap by 2 each
They only play with toys if they’re in the mood for it, and their mood changes randomly over time. If they aren’t chasing a toy, try seeing if they will chase your mouse cursor, or they may be in the mood to chase another kitty, or to sit around.
I was looking for a nice little game to play while I sat in my living room just to relax. Thanks to you, instead of just relaxing, now I'm relaxing AND developing an addiction. You don't always need anything fancy to make a great experience, and this proves it. Great work, absolutely loving it!
make the automatic water bowl actually lose water and make save files (like 3 save files or smth) edit: I LOVE THIS GAME, its so addicting that its like tomagachi but cats. plus make the cats not get stuck in corners pls
I love this game!! although I shared it to my sister and she lost her save :C she loved the game but now shes really upset and I wish I could do something to help her. (shes playing on ipad) idk if that has anything to do with it but I'd love any feedback I could get.
heyo! pretty sure if you go onto settings, you can click manage save and it will save it onto file, if you want to access your old save do the same thing but press restore save. idk if this works on iPad but it should. Hope this helps! have a lovely day/night
If she is playing in the web browser, her save file is stored in browser cookies, so make sure she has cookies enabled for this page. Otherwise, you can backup saves in the “manage save data” button in the options (only in web browser version for now), and can backup and restore save files that way. Unfortunately, there’s no way to recover a lost save file if she did not previously back it up, I’m sorry :<
This game is adorable and a little adictive. The cat's AI could use some work as they keep running into walls and getting stuck on objects. I did not realise that you could pet the cats in the beginning

uhm, major problem, I assumed the loss of my old save was a me issue, but I didnt play on a private tab last time..
I didnt make a backup save, I didnt know it’d reset everything next time i logged in :( Is the backup save necessary before you leave?
it only saves if you are playing the application version.
or you can wait till they make it so you can save in browser.

maybe cats don't find your lodging very attractive. have you tried adding cat beds instead?

It’s not compatible, there’s not a way to transfer save files between browser and downloaded versions yet, but it’s something I am working on!

Also I love how the grass moves when things are on them such as toys, cats, ect.
OK found a solution to the food don't get an auto feeder food fills immediately in normal bowl

How do you get the cat's play level to go up? I've been messing around with various toys but nothing seems to work ;w;
IDK i think if they play with something for a period of time they can level it up, you need atleast 3-10 toys
